Celebrating Memorial Day in a Fun Way-New Pix Added

Happy Memorial Day folks! On Saturday I celebrated the holiday by engaging in one of the freedoms secured by those we honor on that day by going to a machine gun range. It was in Hanson, Ma., hosted by the rod & gun club there for charity. It's one of the very rare times the public can actually fire fully automatic weapons. It was kind of expensive, but worth it.
I fired the Browning BAR 30.06 (forerunner of today's M-60), the Thompson .45 machine gun, and an Isreali 9mm Uzi. It was, shall we say, SHHHHWEEEET!
Just added some pix of the infamous minigun! It runs on two 12 volt batteries to spin the barrels, not exactly the portable unit Blain was carrying.
