I don't know how many people remember the first "super group" of the 80's known as Asia, I have loved their music for a long time and have wished that the original members would get back together someday. That wish came true this year as I had the privelage of seeing them in their 25th anniversary tour last night at the Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut. They were awesome. A new album is rumored to be in the works.

Loved that band I saw them in Grand Rapids, MIchigan when they did their first album tour. Excellent! I got 2 of their cd's. Glad to know they're still around.

No Mel, no recasts I've never seen 40 year old virgin, that must have been one funny scene. As far as their sound, I'm happy to report that they sound just as good as a quarter century ago- "geezers" or not. In an f-ed up world, a few things seem "righter," with these guys coming back together. It was interesting how they took some of their hits and performed them with a slower tempo, and with different instruments like a ukulele for the song "Don't Cry". The Eagles did the same thing with "Hotel California" a few years ago.
It's all good---
